we undertstand this edu-map of humanity is controversial - as is our scoring system which composes four --100 metrics

unique-for-world<>old wisdom<>digital<>youth accessibility for everyone to be a teacher & student as sustainability goals determine our species

for example we score the UK led by oxbridge as 100-50-1-5

-because of being the home of english language it has uniqueness for world-

this is all historical, nothing of oxbridge is digitally unique as a a worldwide collaboration ecosystem; -due to poor systems of public service (antiquated political system) and failure to value bbc as unique learning resource accessible action-networking significance of uk and oxbridge in valuing youthful trading belt roads to sustainability of humanity is: low; 1984-2024 mediation opportunity lost chapter 6

 -antidote BAIIB.org

compare leaders china's belt roads  100- 60--90-60 (multiplying about 1300 more currency for youth as sustainability generation than UK, thoiugh note united these two peoples can have unparalleled consequence in these most exciting times to be alive)

because of population size and unique spirit sustainability of humanity depends on

china's worldwide value maps most of all; china's cultural knowledge is extremely rich even if

its scientific contributions to much of the indusrial revolution lagged until recently;

its digital contribution are world leading; its accessibility to worldwide youth is unique

but old western powers remain scared of trusting the sustainability of human race to china

compare Boston as USA's most hopeful eudcation space for sutainability 80-20-50-5 about 75 times less www impact except arctic
nowhere in america values higher education with the actionable hubs of boston's ecosystem
the climate's a challenge but the student enterpreneur and social engineer networking exceptional and there is more
open source out of boston than anywhere in the english language- its the home space of the TBL founder

of www. Nonetheless under 30's worldwide access to boston really only reaches smart college studnets prepared to linkin

In our view , not widely certified by academics and other rulers who speak English with an American accent, outside Boston most

of USA is not innovating education in ways worldwide youth need to be generation to sustain our species; the east coast is trapped in a system of dismal politics only emulated by a few of world's worst dictators; the west coast got addicted to trying

to make the internet an appendix to the advertising age (the least sustainable contribution americans faced the globe with);

it doesnt help that as von neumann clarified american economists break the first principle of science by not toplining hypotheses

their systems compound round. Tragic misunderstanding arise such as the loss of the reality of free markets as originally systemised

arpung Adam Smith's Yin & Yang (value transparency of a community where enough people see your actions that low trust behaviour destroys all your goodwill; design the oppoiste of colonisation- ie where peoples efficiently unite round more resources celebrate their bigger market (value multipliers) by integrating its with your own most purposefully trusted flows, segmenting diversity so that win-wins can be traded )

failure to topline hypotheses explains our era's titanic disaster of spending 1000 times more on educational trechnologies than 1946 but still valuing learning (growth of people) as next to nothing in the gdp growth headlines newscasted nightly in the west; fortunately china leads the world out of this error in valuing youth collaboration in the next 3 billion jobs mapping BRI.school BRI.systems BRI.mba

WINNER 2018 - THE GLOBAL TEACHER PRIZE

BIOGRAPHY

Andria teaches at Alperton Community School, a secondary school academy in the inner city borough of Brent. It’s no easy task. Brent is one of the most ethnically diverse places in the country and 130 languages are spoken in its schools. Its pupils come from some of the poorest families in Britain, many sharing one house with five other families, many exposed to gang violence. Children arrive at the school with limited skills and already feel isolated from staff and one another, making engaging with them all the more vital, but all the more difficult.

“There is no other job like being a teacher. In what other profession are you selfless and completely devoted to creating the right opportunities for another person to achieve? Being in a classroom and watching a student have an idea and transform it into a formidable outcome is so satisfying and fulfills me.”

The odds were stacked against her succeeding, but Andria has defied them. Working as an art and textiles teacher and as a member of the senior leadership team tasked with earning the trust of her pupils and their families to understand the complex lives they’ve come from, she redesigned the curriculum across all subjects from scratch – carefully working alongside other teachers – to have it resonate with her pupils. She helped a music teacher launch a Somali school choir and she created alternative timetables to allow girls–only sports that would not offend conservative communities, leading the girls’ cricket team to win the McKenzie Cup.

Learning the basics of many of the 35 languages in Alperton’s pupil population, Andria has been able to reach out to her once marginalised students to earn their trust and, crucially, establish relationships with their parents. Thanks to her efforts, Alperton is now in the top 1 to 5% of the country in terms of qualifications and accreditations. This as a colossal achievement given how low the students’ starting points were and how rapidly they progressed during their five to seven years at the school, a point recognised by the national inspection team.

Introducing real life situations in maths classes helped Alperton’s maths department win the TES 2017 maths team of the year. In her own art classes, Andria has creatively redesigned the curriculum, even bringing in an “Artist in residence” to promote inspiration and help pupils cope with the responsibilities of their complex home circumstances. As a result, Alperton has been awarded specialist school status in visual arts.

Andria is proud when her students go on to university, get jobs and set up their own businesses.Andria’s determination to move beyond an identikit school curriculum has seen Alperton awarded the Institute of Education’s Professional Development Platinum Mark, an honour fewer than 10 British schools have ever achieved.
